I love the first image. One thing I would change is the colour of the sky. If the sun is that low. You would need the sky to be more reddish.

No I don’t personally. But to make it more life like. Finding a suitable skybox in this style would look better than the one you have currently. In my opinion.
I am amazed at this build! It almost looks photorealistic. Could you try adjusting some of the tree heights a little so it seems to be slightly more natural? I can imagine your build with the vegetation feature that’s coming soon!

Very good job, you really hit the realism factor. (Different sizes of trees would help and more space for the water?)
It looks great but I’d suggest adding some texture to the ground too, maybe a few pebbles around the shoreline of the lake and maybe even a few broken logs or stumps in the forest, for variation.
