Hi, I have a problem with blender. Two different meshes appear as one mesh when you throw them into the studio. How can I solve this problem? I would appreciate it if you write in detail.
Do you have any pictures of what the 2 meshes look like when imported to studio?
This is mainly because blender would automatically convert the multiple meshes as one
If you are exporting a custom character or even anything in general, you can export the different meshes as FBX and use the custom avatar importer at the Plugins Tab> Avatar Importer> Custom
If you want to use OBJ:
Make sure in OBJ export to disable
Objects as>OBJ Objects
and enable Objects as>OBJ Groups
. This will export the model so it can handle 2 meshes separately as one OBJ file.
Now upload the mesh in the asset manager. Once you did that make sure that import file as single mesh is remained disabled. Also make sure you click apply and not apply all. (thanks for the reminder @xSting7)
We can see that the single OBJ file we exported has separated (or splited) into 2 meshes. Now you can select these meshes and insert with location.
