The climbing animation is making us climb ladders at 100 mp/h

Bug:

  • in first person, climbing a ladder but looking left/right a few degrees will make you launch straight up the ladder super fast.

Cause:

  • it’s the new default Animate script (disabling climbing animation from it will not cause this ladder bug)

Exception:

  • climbing a TrussPart will act normally (this bug does not happen on Trusses)

Replication:

  • climb the ladders in the following place (and look left or right a few degrees) to see the bug
  • there are orange trusses near them to show how climbing normally is

Edit:
Another new climbing bug:

  • in first person again, looking directly square at the ladder you’re climbing (even a Truss this time) will stop your climbing altogether.

Was able to reproduce the first, but not the second.

Yeah, I can reproduce the second bug where it stops you from climbing while looking flat into the ladder in my Oasis place, but not in the linked regular place. d:
