The description of Bluesteel Ring of Olympia describes wrong physical properties of Bluesteel

The description states that Bluesteel is light in weight Bluesteel Ring of Olympia - Roblox

While descriptions of other Bluesteel accessories emphasize how heavy the metal is

The Bluesteel Ring of Olympia is the first Bluesteel item describing the physical “weight” of Bluesteel on Roblox. Other items should instead reflect this, instead of changing the first example in the series.

The description of Bluesteel Gift of Long Years says “You would shake it… but you need to work out a bit first” which, while it doesn’t directly state that Bluesteel is heavy, it can be interpreted as implying that the metal is so heavy that you can’t shake it without working out

Ah, I missed that, thank you for clearing that up.
After digging a bit deeper it looks like the Bluesteel Ring of Olympia’s description was changed to what it is now in 2021. It used to say “Blue and full of steel. Like the skies of Beijing (for the moment).” I don’t know why this was changed, but I think it should be changed back or atleast fixed to display the correct properties of bluesteel that you noted.

I attached an image with the description if the gift, it just doesn’t lod properly for some rason. My bad, should’ve double-checked.
Also what’s up with Beijing, why would they even change that :sob:

Hi Ag3nt_Olo, I spoke with the creator and they said that although this seems like an inconsistency, it is intended. Unfortunately, they did not provide much more information than that. Hope this helps!

Are you sure? This was not the original description of the item and was changed to this in 2021.

Thanks! Is there any chance of the description getting reverted to “Blue and full of steel. Like the skies of Beijing (for the moment).” though? The original description not only was less confusing, but also referenced Beijing in which 2008 Olympics took place and it makes sense, since the Bluesteel Ring of Olympia was released in 2008.

That doesn’t… seem to make alot of sense? Was the original creator also the one who edited the description?

This seems like one of the cases where it should probably be changed regardless of the original intent, since it doesn’t really fit in with the lore of the given items. It’s either heavy or light.

As said before, it should probably be reverted to it’s original description.
