The Devforum has a problem with toxcicity

Exactly what I did. They didn’t do anything though.

If you had read ANY of the above replies, you would know that the discussion happened ON THE FORUM.

You said you just flagged their post, try DMing them directly if you didn’t? Or maybe bump the DM if you did?

I flagged their post AND dmed developer engagement team.

The DET are only humans. They make mistakes. Please acknowledge the fact that hundreds and hundreds of flags are sent in everyday, and yours could’ve been lost in the flood.

Moreover, what should be done? You posted this in Forum Features, yet you haven’t talked about any potential fixes. Seems like unproductive ranting to me.

And finally, you haven’t shown any proof that it did happen to you. I’m not saying you’re lying, but that you haven’t shown anything that proves it.

Why would I lie about this? If I add proof then it will just be sparking drama. One potential fix that I can suggest for this is having moderation bots that block swear words.

But swearing is allowed on the forums, just not directed swearing or extreme swearing, and none in public categories. What he said falls under allowed swearing, and all the truly bad stuff happened on Discord.

That isn’t a racial slur, and #forum-feedback is a private category (hence the padlock). There are more extreme ones I won’t even mention, but they should be blocked by little squares.

I don’t know, it’s just getting weird how almost every single person you try to work with does the exact same thing: Dissing your work and calling you slurs.

I don’t see how, all it requires is an image with the inappropriate content, name and avatar scribbled out.

Well, I wasn’t working with him. He contacted me and said that my GFX was “dog shit”

Like people have said there are lots of flags going in every day but I will day it could just be bad luck because someone flagged one of my posts and it I got messaged and my post hidden within a minute

Well even then they still have to sort of inspect it I’m assuming they would still see the insulting part

Best thing to do would be to just ignore them, if Developer Engagement does nothing you’ll just have to deal with it.

Yeah he could just ignore it but that guy needs to be like warned because who knows how many people went through the same thing

Roblox is limited to its platform and classifies related problems as a false report and in this regard they do nothing

Well all I can say is flag the DevForum post for being rude, or message DET and give them a few days.

Well I guess just wait for them to respond, if they do. Roblox has obviously shown to be terrible at moderation.

If they were harassing you on discord, you can report them to the discord trust and safety team at https://dis.gd/request

Discord is surprisingly active for reports (at least, they’ll take action in roughly 3 days usually) but you’ll get an email once they’ve taken action (if any) which is nice

Contacting Discord is your best solution for the Discord DMs, and flagging on the DevForum as well.

Discord takes 3 days if you contact them by email because of the coronavirus. But if you reply to the email you sent them, then the email will get bumped to the top of the support list and will usually respond a few hours later.

If there is still no luck, I got your back.

Like the other helpful people in the reply section, I am also going to say that stuff on Discord has to be report to Discord Trust & Safety Team not Devoforum’s staff team.
I know you are going to say that he said those in Devforum, but look at this quote again?

This is what you said, you clearly mentioned he friended you on discord and then proceeded to list the things he said. Never once did you say he told you this in DevForum.
If this was a mistake, I understand, if it wasn’t please don’t go creating drama on something the Devforum staff don’t have hands on.
For future stuff, please report to Discord trust and safety team. And follow what the other helpful people are suggesting in the replies section. (Especially @WooleyWool 's reply) Thanks for reading, cheers.
