This happens only in Studio script editing page.
This started happening on May 2.

Problem:

The first line of the Roblox Studio script editing page turns blue and the autocomplete and syntax error prompts disappear

It doesn’t have an underline to tell me an error

And there is no auto completion

It disappears when I try to type and reappears when I stop typing

The methods I have tried:
Reopen Roblox Studio,
Reinstall Roblox Studio,
Use VPN

The above methods are useless

Expected behavior

If I make a mistake during the coding process, there will be an underline and auto completion will be displayed

Hi @po_xing

It seems you are hitting typechecking ice. Would you open script analysis widget to see what’s the error/warning message on it? Also would you check what beta features you are enabling?

This actually happens to me quite a lot and it’s super annoying. I’ll follow your instructions next time it does and let you know what I see

I disabled the beta feature of the new Luau type processor and resolved it

I don’t think you should mark this as a solution! It’d be nice to have the root issue with the BETA feature fixed

Reporting bugs is fine and should always be reported if they are creating barriers while exploring or interacting with Roblox products and features, from websites to software (ie Roblox Studio).

However, when it comes to having a problem and you discover that it is because of one of the beta features, that is not a solution. This is the root of the problem you are facing. And with this being pointed out, Roblox engineer(s) will utilize this piece to fix internally and deploy a solution.

Until then, without their responses, you shouldn’t mark your replies as what @bvetterdays said. Only mark as a solution when they provide updates on this thread and state that everything is working normally. :+1:
