The jump button is blocked by friend requests on mobile

When a friend request is sent to a mobile player, the request blocks their jump button. This is a nuisance to deal with because, on basically all parkour games, it gives every single player an insta-kill weapon that works only on mobile players. This is an extremely unfair way to die or fall.

Example of dying to friend request (the person who friended me was asked to do so at a random time):

The solution is simple: Move the friend request notification ABOVE the jump button. This space isn’t used for anything so it’s the perfect spot.

One might argue that people are used to the friend request button being on top of the jump button or that it might overlap with game UIs. Both of these positives toward keeping the jump button in its current placements do not come close to outweighing the negatives. The notification only shows onscreen for about 5 seconds max anyway, so it would not affect anything at all if it was moved. The only thing that would change is that there would be less unfair deaths in games.

Any updates?

I’ve resorted to just blocking everyone in a server whenever I’m doing something important that would be ruined by a friend request. Usually while beating a difficult map in FE2 or a tower in ToH. It’s not ideal but it works I guess. Hopefully this issue gets fixed soon because it’s a hassle…
