When on the Creations dashboard page, the default sort is to sort by Last Updated. This does not seem to work. For instance, the first row of experiences displayed for me are the following:
In order left-to-right, they were last updated Feb 2016, Jan 2020, Feb 2022, Aug 2021, May 2015, Dec 2014, Jul 2023, Apr 2020. Seemingly random.
Adding on to this, this happens in Studio too.

What exactly was updated in each of these experiences? Was it in-game content?
I haven’t touched Angels Fifteen in years, so nothing. Same with the rest of those items. The most-recently updated thing on that list is Billiards, which had both content changes and metadata changes (game description, icon, etc.)
You mentioned the following dates “Feb 2016, Jan 2020, Feb 2022, Aug 2021, May 2015, Dec 2014, Jul 2023, Apr 2020.” Besides Billiards, are the other dates for changes to the games’ content or metadata?
The “Sort by Last Updated Date” is intended to only account for updates in metadata (i.e. Name/Desc/Privacy/Archival status) and not in-studio changes to content. From my own testing and from your example, it seems the feature is working as originally designed. However, we empathize that it may be confusing that content changes are not counted as updates. I will get back to you with whether this new feature will be added.
I haven’t touched a few of those games in many years. Unless Roblox made a change to them on my behalf, they haven’t been updated. There are other games that I’ve updated much more reccently that are not even showing up there.
Also, game creation counts as an update to metadata. For the missing “other games” I believe this is a separate issue- I suggest opening up a new devforum thread for this.
What you are looking for is a new feature Last Edited (to in-game content). As of now, we’re hesitant to combine Last Edited with Last update to metadata because this behavior wouldn’t be as relevant in the Studio sort, and we’d like to be consistent across Studio and CD.
The “Last Updated” sorting is just completely wrong. I have been randomly showed games I have not updated the metadata for in over 5 years, and games that were updated in 2021 are being shown before games I created/updated in 2023. The games being shown are inconsistent, and a week ago I was getting completely different games shown even though I have only updated 1 or 2 games since.
You can even see in the response that the sorting make no sense in terms of the “updated” field
