Appeal Information

What is this section about?

Here at The Lighthouse Theatre we believe everyone should be given an fair chance to appeal against any punishment which is taken against you. Due to this to allow everyone to understand how our appeal system works we have created this section to explain everything which is needed to appeal. On this page you can find how to appeal, about the appeal cool down and some other important things you may need before appealing.

How to appeal a punishment?

Here you can find the simple steps to how you can appeal a punishment. Anyone can appeal but there are some minor restrictions which will be found later on in this section of the Handbook.

  1. Make sure the punishment you would like to appeal can be appealed against. Mostly everything you can appeal against but not all.

  2. Fill in the appeal application. Fill in all questions the best you can (on some things like who gave you the punishment if you are unsure leave blank).

  3. Await at least 48 hours for your appeal to be read. Our appeal team will review your appeal and decide if you will be accepted.

  4. If your appeal is accepted you will be send a DM on Discord or via email if your banned from the server. Your punishment will then be reverted. If it is not accepted then you will also get a DM. Please do not complain if it is declined as you can always appeal again once the appeal cool down is over.

What can I appeal

Due to some punishments being worse then others we do not allow all punishments to be appealed. Although this is true we do allow you to appeal to most things. Below you can see what you can appeal against. Everything else you currently can’t appeal against but could be changed in the future.

The things you can appeal against is:

  • Discord bans

  • Discord warnings

  • Discord mutes

  • Game perm bans

  • Game warnings

Please also understand you CANNOT appeal against a blacklist due to this being decided by the ownership team.

What is the appeal cooldown?

Due to our appeal staff being small and we do not want a spam of appeals there is an appeal cooldown. This is in place and must be followed or you may get backlisted from our appeal systems. Our current cooldown is 1 week which you MUST wait. If not it will be auto declined without even being looked into.
