Game History:
Originally the game was started on in 2015, but because of critical issues I meeted that I didn’t know how to fix yet, I stopped working on it until 2019 where I mostly remade the whole game and found a fix in December. The game was released 1. April this year.
Now:
But apparently I gets more bad ratings than good ratings on game-page, but my in-game feedback system shows opposite with more good than bad.
So what I need feedback on to find out why it gets more bad ratings than good is:
What you think about the game, what is good and what is bad, what does it need improved and what must be removed, what is confusing, something that is hard to find?
I think it is a good game with good mechanic but the rating is bad probably because the game is too hard and make some people rage leading them to dislike the game. Kinda like ToH, Silhouette, Impossible obby, etc.
You talks about those “beta” tags above the portals?
They are there since I don’t know yet if I have been able to patch all bugs yet.
But I hoped the community told about those bugs.
What an interesting mechanic! This game was very interesting and fun at times but at others, it was frustrating and tedious. Although I haven’t played for very long I can see a few possible problems. A few levels in, I found that I needed to rely heavily on what I could see through the mirror however it was very very hard to understand how to move my character in a way that works when mirrored. The first time I saw this problem was in the first level of the Classic Level Pack (I’m pretty that was the name) where controlling my character to match my mirrored character was like controlling a character except my controls were inverted https://gyazo.com/558d8862536ad3abd5438c603fb18341
tl;dr
Interesting concept, I think your game would be even better if the player was able to see the mirrored side better and if you utilized the mirror mechanic a bit better. Also, a tutorial or an explanation of the mechanics would help new players get the hang of it.
When meaning not having randomness do you mean I should replace the level entirely or just edit it?
There is a way in the level to beat it without die/reset and without just guess. There is a hint in the mirror. Should I make it even easier to see the hint?
