The Mountains (Showcase)

I have a question. How do people do those waterfalls?

You my friend need a lesson, so what I do is first make the terrain itself, then I use the erode tool to create a hole in the terrain, after that I use paint and paint snow, then I go to the regions tab and use the fill tool to create water in the hole, now here comes the hard part we need to make a beam and insert a texture (There are plenty of tutorials on this), now after positioning the beam, simply use the erode and fill tool to create water at the end of the waterfall and voila you are done!

I know that the pics might not show much but that is because they are not accurate! There is currently a massive amount of detail when you play the game it will blow you away!!!

I like it! One suggestion is to turn on Terrain.Decoration in properties to make the grass look nicer. Also it looks like it could use some trees because most mountains have trees. But great job, I like the mountains and waterfalls!

EDIT: And turn on ShadowMap or Future lighting, it looks like you are using Voxel lighting from the pictures.

lol I know about decoration but turning that on causes my showcase to look weird on extreme levels so i’d rather not.

Also I am using future u just can’t see it very well!!!
