The "No tags have been added yet" text, as well as the button to add a tag, is not correctly aligned in game.Lighting

Explanation

The “No Tags have been added yet” text, as well as the buttons to add both a tag and an attribute are not lined up correctly.

This issue only seems to occur with Lighting, and no other services.

Closing any of the subsections (e.g. “Data”, “Exposure”, “Fog”) corrects the alignment, although clicking off of Lighting then onto it again causes it to misalign again.

Adding a tag removes the No Tags added text, and the tag name becomes correctly aligned. However, the + buttons remain misaligned.

Reproduction

  1. Click on the Lighting tab in Workspace

  2. Scroll down in the properties widget to the bottom, where the Tags section is located (or otherwise navigate to the Tags section).

  3. Observe the misaligned text.

We’ve filed a ticket into our internal database for this issue, and will come back as soon as we have updates!

Thanks for flagging!

Hello,

Is this still an issue? I cannot seem to observe this.

Hello,

I tested it just now and it still seems to be happening

It seems that sometimes it doesn’t have the issue, but the majority of the time the issue is present.

Interesting. Do you think you can provide a list of beta features that you have enabled?

And also, perhaps any settings you have enabled in Studio Settings > Studio > Explorer/Visualization?

I have quite a few beta features enabled, however even when I disabled them and restarted studio, the issue persisted.

The explorer / Visualization settings are below

I seem to have a hard time reproing this issue :frowning:

Unfortunately, unless we can find a way to repro it relatively consistently on our side, it will be hard for us to identify the issue and patch it.

We’ll keep the bug report and its associated internal ticket open though.

Alright!
If I get the chance, I’ll mess around a bit on my end to see if I can figure out exactly what causes it to occur.

Sorry for the late post, but I’ve been encountering this issue too! However, it was occuring on a textlabel likely due to multiline text?

There’s a fix for this shipping in January.

Just an update – the issue was partially fixed back in the winter, however there are still several cases when it happens.

We’re working on a new Explorer and Properties panel that will be rebuilt from the ground up, and.I’m closing this ticket because we won’t fix this in the current version, but instead address it in the new Explorer and Properties panel.
