The Fure Skull of Evermoor was released on January 3rd 2013 and could be purchased for a limited time. In 2017 it became a roblox toy chaser code item. As a result the description was changed to promote Roblox toys
Unfortunately I could not find any screenshots of the original description, I even tried using Wayback Machine, but it didn’t work either. The only evidence I’ve got is the Roblox Wiki
I think it would be idea to combine the original description with the new one, because most of the Roblox toy code items have a normal description followed by a promotion of toys
For instance Mind Virus that came with 1x1x1x1 Roblox toy:
Interesting catch first off, but I don’t think there’s enough evidence to make this change. This statement was added to the wiki by someone who has been warned for adding misinformation before, and this seems to be the only mention of the description on the internet – so I wouldn’t consider this reliable. Technically, it is possible this was the description at one point between 2017-2021 and the Wayback Machine didn’t catch it, but I feel like without this concrete proof, we shouldn’t be relying off of what a fan wiki says (with no source) to make changes to items. (FWIW, I did go ahead and remove this statement from the wiki page, but can be readded if a decent source supporting it is found. Just worried about fan-made information causing official items to be changed.)
Also, this wiki page you’re referring to is not great for information even outside of the description. As of 15 minutes ago it falsely claimed that the Fire Skull of Evermoor was “available for 7500 Robux for one day” in 2013 (added by the same user as the OG description) [which I’m just now noticing you used in your post] – no, Roblox did not reuse this classic item for a toy code 4 years later, it just didn’t get released until 2017.
My apologies. The item was uploaded to Roblox in 2013, but became available in 2017 and while there is a possibility that there was a different description in 2013-2017, I think I went a bit too fast without any concrete evidence.
The reason you’ll see items with upload dates going back YEARS before their actual release date is because Roblox recycles unused accessory IDs from duplicate uploads, tests, and unreleased hats. For example, downloading the first version of the Fire Skull of Evermoor will give you the Cerebral Reader.
