The Parent property of DataStoreService is locked, current parent:

Hey, I was doing some scripting until I ran into this weird message in the output:

While this error has not yet caused any harm to my game I just want to know what it does, and if its a serious problem or just something which means nothing.

go to game settings, go to services or something like that then turn on data store requests

Thats already turned on, any other ideas?

I think one of your scripts is attempting to change the parent of DataStoreService, you can check this by pressing ctrl+f and typing DataStoreService and finding the part where the parent is changed.

Hey!
I wouldn’t really worry about this warning. If you don’t know which script is causing this, then I would just ignore it, but I’m not sure if it’s a great idea as I have no experience with this kind of issue.

EDIT: I think it might be just some bug that is caused by Roblox.

I checked over it and didn’t find anything.

Well in that case, I’d go with what @MegaBorecYT said and ignore the warning. It is not an error, therefore will not stop your code from running.

In that case, this could be a virus.

Because it is ran from require or getfenv.

I didn’t even run the game, I anchored a NPCs torso and it sent that in the console. I unanchored and anchored it again and it sent it. Must be a bug

I don’t know what you mean, do you mean running in studio?

This may be a virus plugin installed in your Studio.

Doubt it, the only ones that have access to script injections are made from: Quenty, CloneTrooper, and ZacBytes which are very popular.
