The possibility of the cancellation of the original dynamic heads happening currently and bringing the original faces back on sale

Roblox has not made any dynamic heads for a long time. As you may already know, Roblox made a classic face (Snowflake Eyes ). I assume this means that Roblox is no longer working on dynamic heads. If this is the case, wouldn’t it be logical to offer the original classic faces taken off sale due to their dynamic counterparts going on sale and the dynamic heads either off sale, removed, or still on sale as an alternative? Making the classic faces available again will also increase the possibilities of avatar customization. And please do not change the prices of these faces.

The classic faces that were taken off sale due to their dynamic counterparts come back on sale and either the dynamic heads are to be removed, off sale, or still available to get as an alternative.

That is a good point. I also believe bug reports are the only ones with “expected behavior”. But that’s not the reason I posted here. I just thought it would get attention here.

It would also be great if the Classic Heads went back on sale. Roblox never really gave a reason when they took them off sale randomly back in 2017. I see no reason why they should not be on sale.

We want avatar heads on our platform to be dynamic and expressive while respecting the broad range of aesthetics that our community loves. To do this, we’re exploring ways to create dynamic heads from classic faces in a way that retains a face’s original look and feel. We are also exploring letting users choose if they want their faces to be dynamic or static. Ultimately, we want to do all of this in a way that maximizes user expression while making things easy for our creators.

Based on what Greg said in this AMA, it’s clear that Roblox wants to let users have control over whether heads are static or dynamic. So I’m not sure why classic faces should be left offsale if this toggle would be added in the future.

The versatile approach for this update would be to let players buy classic faces, and decide whether they’d like to have them dynamic or not, and vice versa. This would allow for players to explore the dynamic heads feature, while not being limited in what style they’re going for.

That is a good point. Putting classic faces off sale and limiting you to dynamic only limits your customization possibilities.

I think, eventually, their plan is to make it so you can buy the dynamic head and switch it between dynamic and static via a switch or button.

I believe it was featured in a Twitter post alongside early concepts of accessory adjustment. Either way, I don’t think this means that the classic versions of these faces should go offsale, I think people should be able to buy them from either page. Especially since Dynamic Heads aren’t currently supported in all head shapes.
