New Game Mode: HARDPOINT

The first of 4 new gamemodes to be released is Hardpoint! This classic gamemode runs similarly to King of the Hill and Domination, though only one terminal is active at a time and will rotate to another position (randomly selected based on 3 possible pre-determined locations) after an interval of time has passed. The first team to reach the set max points wins!

  • Terminal will spawn in one of three locations in the middle of the map.
  • The process for capturing and contesting the terminal is the same as it is for both King of the Hill and Domination gamemodes.
  • After 90 seconds elapses, the terminal will disappear/teleport to another random location.
  • The gamemode has been enabled for every map that currently supports the Domination gamemode.

Note: The terminal will always rotate to another location after 90 seconds have passed; i.e. it will not select the same position it currently sits.

New Maps:

While both of these maps have been in Prism for a while, I thought it was only fair to announce their addition via these notes as I hadn’t already done so before. These new map additions are as follows:

  • RUSF’s MC1
  • RUSF’s China Town

Both of these maps support the King of the Hill gamemode and were graciously donated to us by MasterParadox of RUSF!

Other Updates

  • PUSHBALL: Decreased the ball’s friction and density slightly.
  • PUSHBALL: Default Max Points change from 3 to 2.
  • Re-enabled admin fun commands.

Map Bug Fixes:

  • Varcia: Players should no longer randomly die upon spawning in the map.
  • Kirstey’s Hospital Map: Players should no longer spawn on the roof upon loading in to the map.

General Bug Fixes

  • Bugs associated with the Game UI have been resolved (you should no longer see text from other game modes show up on the gui, eg “Obby Personal Best Time,” among other visual issues)
  • Testing a fix with the Celeste 2 guns breaking intermittently; if you notice they are still breaking from time-to-time, please let me know.
