For some reason, the roblox logo now appears as “Blue” on the desktop app but not on the website. This causes confusing on what the official logo is
As i am not sure if this is intended or not. I filed a bug report for clarification and since the official logo is white and not blue, this could be unintended behavior as this could have been rolled out early by mistake

I expect the logo to be black/white like it is on the website

studio’s logo was changed too
Roblox announced it, its an official change, you can change it by downloading the old file and editing the current icon I believe.
PS: If someone knows where to get the exact old logo, please tell me. im trying to change it back
I mean this could be the case but at the same time it’s Roblox. Like the time where randomly thousands of people got banned so anything is possible and this post should give some clarification as it’s still the same on the website
I didn’t actually see Roblox announcing it anywhere. I only saw Bloxy News which is not a official source

the bans are very possible since they were messing with security changes around the time for the event, but you don’t accidentally change the icon for two apps at a random time lol
I can confirm that this is not a bug, the icon changes are intentional.
If i can ask, is there a specific reason why the logo got changed on the roblox app but is the old one on the website?
Roblox is becoming so lifeless with the lack of vibrant colors, I can tell that they are trying to turn this into some sort of “realistic” metaverse platform.
I think it would be best for everyone if you didn’t send every little change as a bug report.
I don’t know what the plans are to change it there but trying to exactly synchronize changes like that takes a lot of extra effort so the relevant team may just not have done it yet.
im not sure if you noticed but blue is a vibrant color, previously it was just black/silver 
the icon is LESS “realistic” or “metaverse” than the previous icon
looks better then the old versions
Either way i am kinda not the fan of both icons. People say “The blue icon looks worst” but atleast it got color… all previous icons were just black and white
I don’t like both icons but i wouldn’t really complain if it would stay even tho it looks like the discord logo… as above said by staff they could completely revamp the logo for the website aswell but they don’t know so we just gotta wait
Also since this topic became a bit more of just talking about the logo it’ll probably be locked by staff but i do appreciate the staffs response atleast
