The roblox VNG problem

Hello everyone,

I am making this post to report the current situation about Roblox VNG, the Roblox VNG migration system that is completely locking innocent players out of their accounts.

For MONTHS, I have been trapped in stupid location- i’ve contact customer support but STILL didnt got any help. I keep getting the exact same useless AI GENERATED REPLIES. These are not automated bot responses. I have been speaking to actual human moderators who choose to repeatedly copy-paste the same script (as i think)

The Problem that i don’t even live in Vietnam

NO, and i repeat NO I DID NOT USE VPN OR DNS.. I have never used a VPN or DNS service that would mask my location, since i know how risky it is. No i did NOT use roblox VNG App and i have never downloaded or owned the “Roblox VNG” app.

for NOW i still have never clicked the “Agree” button to accept the VNG Terms of Service, even tho in the TOS they said i still can get support with relocating my account (since it makes which ads or currency i buy robux or subscribtion with)
and they STILL HAVENT FIXET THAT DAM AUTOMATED SYSTEM THAT RELOCATED YOUR ACCOUNT, even they somehow MANAGED to falsely flag my account location and relocated me to the Vietnam region. Since this happened, I haven’t been able to play the game at all. Because i was scared to play anything else since im a small developer my progress was stopped from this day.

The moderator kept saying that they “seen” my account and they said that they cant work with me because ive “AGREED” TO THEIR DAM POLICY… I DIDNT AND NEVER WOULD

According to both the global “Roblox ToS” and the “Roblox VNG ToS” you are allowed to change your location back with moderation support. The ToS states that while you cannot play the global version while assigned to the VNG region, you CAN contact customer support to fix a mistaken relocation.

I pointed this out to a moderator. and what’s their response? They told me I can no longer play global Roblox, that I should just “create a new account,” or somehow download the Roblox VNG app.

this is just ridiculous: I cannot download Roblox VNG because it is region-locked to the Vietnamese App/Play Store, and I don’t live there.
the Currency Issue that I CANT BUY ROBUX OR ROBLOX PLUS THROUGH VNG, which would require Vietnam currency or local payment methods that i dont even know.. I don’t have access to all of that. Telling an international user to bypass the system or create a new account and keep playing the game is kinda insane- ALL THE PROGRESS JUST TO THROW IT AWAY? GREAT.

When I gently but firmly replied to the moderator quoting their own ToS about account relocation, they completely ghosted me and ignored me for a month.

for now the Current Situation Roblox support has become completely unreachable for this issue, Especially the VNG one..

ALOT OF IGNORED TICKETS.. Every single ticket I open gets completely ignored, except for the one unhelpful moderator I spoke to.
The problem that Roblox offers no transparent system to view past (Which is used in the other companies), unanswered tickets to see if they are even being reviewed.

I am currently opening a single ticket every 10 days just to keep trying. I refuse to click the VNG “Agree” message button so I don’t permanently relocate my global account rights.

I’m really sorry you’re going through this. It’s incredibly frustrating that Roblox is ignoring your support tickets for over a month and not helping you resolve the account location issue. You’re right if the ToS says support should be able to assist with location problems, then they should be doing just that, not dismissing your tickets or giving you the runaround. It’s crazy that they’re telling you to make a new account or download VNG when neither of those options is even possible for you. That just shows how unhelpful and disconnected they are from what players like you actually need.

Honestly, it seems like Roblox isn’t prioritizing international players or those with issues outside their standard procedures. It’s unfair that you might have to start over or lose everything just because of a technical problem they’re not fixing. You’ve been patient and trying to get help, and it’s upsetting that they’re not even giving you the respect or support you deserve. Your persistence in not giving up and trying to find a solution shows how much you care about your account and progress.

I really hope more people see this and that Roblox finally addresses these issues properly. You shouldn’t have to go through all this just to keep your account. From my understanding you’ve followed one of those “Russian Roblox ban bypass using VNG” tutorials on Youtube.

I recall Roblox stated it clearly in their official announcement that players can switch their account to VNG Roblox, but not switch back to global. This was provided essentially as solution for players in Vietnam who had global accounts and needed to transfer to their location app.

The problem here which I likely suspect is you following one of those social media clout tutorials which tricks many users into losing their accounts. In order to lose your account you’ve had to download the VNG app or at least login to VNG Roblox version which is likely what has happened.

I think this would be a big Roblox issue if it was possible to lose your account so easily just by downloading another app logging in, however from my own experience I can tell that it is absolutely impossible to login into Roblox VNG if your location mismatch Vietnam. Therefore I can only assume that you had to use some sort of method as VPN to bypass that and get yourself locked out of global audience.

wdym??? no i didnt, as i said- I DIDNT USED ROBLOX VNG, I DIDNT USED VPN, IVE PLAYED FROM MY OWN IP.. ALL OF THIS WAS AUTOMATED JOB MADE BY AI THAT FOR SOME REASON SENT ME TO THE VIETNAM LOCATION- I didnt care about chat at all, i was more busy doing MY PROJECT rather than playing.

Even if i agreed and SOMEHOW downloaded roblox VNG i would still have all rights to switch my location with Roblox/VNG ToS.

Check your account settings, security tab, search for any unauthorized login from Vietnam IP. If you’ve successfully identified unauthorized access to Roblox VNG, you could likely escalate support ticket about unauthorized access to your account and request to revert account back.

i think i also add the “bug” as their automated account re-location doesnt work as i saw for the other people, i cant actually play roblox and check if it actually is.. But i think this is might be the issue.

ive managed to see the log in through Gmail since i dont have acces to roblox- and yeah there is indeed sum log in from Vietham IP:

• Regional Location: Vietnam, Da Nang
• IP Address: (i think i hide this one, i dont wanna leak someone’s wifi data)
• Device: Phone (iOS)

Report it immediately to Roblox support. This time cut off any talks about VNG app and get directly to the point that someone accessed your account from Vietnam IP address.

UPDATE!! they still dosent give any useful information and telling about “you cant relocate your account back” even tho in the official tos you only CANT PLAY but CAN CHANGE region.

another update! Ive got replied with the same message again! For the moderators attention- ive highlighted and paste links to the specific ToS! At this point moderator SHOULD change my location after that. (with a 0.7% chance of sucsess that moderator would reply by HIMSELF instead of AI responce)
