The Sentinel's Watch

The following are the official guidelines of being a Sentinel’s Watch officer. Any changes made will be announced.

We are the Sentinel’s Watch. Our primary objective is to keep peace among the community. We are to be examples of impartial point of views and exemplary behavior. We do not tolerate any form of injustice that may come from among factions. We protect the Hydrus System from active threats and defend the helpless.

Rules of Engagement

Do not fire on an entity unless provoked. Exceptions to this rule are as follows:

  • We are in an active war with the entity
    • HRs of other factions may be fired upon regardless of being in a personal ship or not. Other factions are allowed to do the same to us.
  • The entity is a non-faction member using a faction commissioned ship
    • Decommissioned ships apply to this
    • Former HRs who have left on good terms are not to be fired upon
  • The entity is using a ship with the faction’s logo, current or past, with malicious intent to bring down the faction’s image
  • The entity is a faction member breaking the guidelines
  • The entity is part of the event blacklist
  • The entity has been put on a kill on sight list by the event’s host
  • The entity is breaking the game rules (e.g. glitching ships out of formation which is considered abusing game bugs)
  • The entity has begun attacking you, a faction member, or an allied party

Guidelines

  • We are not spies; we do not need to camera clip into user’s hull with malicious intent to take note of their ships components.
  • At no point should any member express hostility for no reason towards any user. If this is found in the AC community, you will be faced with disciplinary action.
  • We do not care what happens outside of AC. Other communities are meant to be separate from AC. Do not use people’s actions in said communities as an argument against them.
  • Ranked members (LR ranks) must uphold a basic standard of following the rules. If said ranked member breaks any of the faction’s rules, they will be deducted points and/or demoted to Aspirant.
