As a developer it’s incredibly frustrating to have all of my studio instances close without a save prompt when want to open a new studio window, but studio has to update first. There is nothing quite as infuriating as having to reset my workflow because everything literally just disappeared off of my screen with no warning.
If the launcher is updated to give a warning and hold off on the update, it would give developers plenty time to save and discard work at their own pace, and in a way they can easily recover
