The UWP version of roblox uses insanely high amounts of memory and has terrible performance

Tested a game on the UWP app and found it odd that it was using upwards of 2GB. Tested on the web app and discovered it was using on average of 2x the amount the web client uses on a regular baseplate. It could hit upwards of 4x

I also noticed my performance was terrible. On the web client I could easily get 240fps however on the UWP version I struggled to get over 100.

Try turning off Game Mode and “Optimizations for Windowed Games” in Windows settings as a temporary fix.

I have a R9 9900x and a 7900XT and was having a similar issue in Roblox Studio.

Might be related to that setting itself and Windows not recognizing Player or Studio as actual games.

I have and when they are on it does it improve frame rates by a few FPS however glitches loads of stuff out so I keep them off
