The "X,Y,Z" arrow not aligning with the part

The “X,Y,Z” arrows for movement of objects in Roblox Studio doesn’t seem to be working properly.
Is this a new update or a bug or something else?

You might have changed the pivot of the part with the pivot tool.
If thats the case clicking the reset button while you have the part selected should fix it.

I think reinstalling roblox will fix it or just try making a new part then test if it still happens

Have you tried pressing Ctrl + L, cld be stuck in the world position rather than local

Nope, not the case. Tried it with Ctrl+l.

As others have said, Ctrl + L is how you’d usually fix this. If that’s not working, please provide more info, such as any plugins you’re using as well seeing if you’re actually editing the pivot by mistake.

Edit, I see in your video you’re changing the pivot correctly.

It may be the face of your pivot. Try clicking Edit Pivot in Model and rotating it. Just saw the edit, my bad. I’m not sure what to do other than this.

It looks like you are not using local coordinates which is where you can move your part based on its’ rotation. CTRL + L is the shortcut to toggle between local and world coordinates. It should say ‘L’ for ‘Local’ on the corner.

It doesn’t work. It seems to have completely bugged.

Does it not work even if you already have one part selected with the move tool enabled?

Yeah,it doesn’t work even with a part selected and move tool enabled.

It fixed itself. It works now so it’s probably a bug.
