Additions to accessories increase only total quantity of accessories, rather than combination variety. Some accessories fit really well together, but all in all our customization variety is severely limited. For instance, what am I supposed to wear with this helmet which was just released? The only hat/face accessories I could combine it with would involve the ugly clipping ROBLOX is trying to avoid, so I can’t wear it with anything else. The helmet I wear has the same problem – it has no customization options, and even after looking through every accessory in the catalog I couldn’t find a good combo.
So, how can we resolve this? How can we empower users with more combination variety instead of just increasing the number of accessories we have? Specifically plan for combination variety. For the next 25 or so accessories ROBLOX releases, pick a theme. For instance, the next 25 could be the sci-fi theme, and all of the accessories should be designed to fit well with the other accessories released in the same batch. Some other potential categories are: medieval, modern military, slice of life, etc. By creating new accessories with a plan like this, new combination variety is guaranteed, instead of hoping new accessories will fit in and not limiting users to just that one accessory.
