“There was a problem receiving data, please reconnect. (Error Code:260)” is a error message
I stumble upon every time I try to Play Test a game in Roblox Studio.

It happend 2 weeks ago and has been like this ever since, been spending my time searching the web following threads & trying to resolve the issue. Some of the stuff I’ve tried are:

  • Uninstalled and reinstalled Roblox Player & Roblox Studio
  • Restarted Computer.
  • Reset Cookies
  • Made sure RobloxStudio and RobloxPlayer is not blocked by Firewall.
  • Reset Router.
  • Switched IP’s.
  • Tried different Roblox accounts, and new ones.

People who think they have the solution for the problem are very vague and people’s normal response are “it’s your internet blocking” or “it’s roblox you just have to wait.”.

Now as shown above, I’ve tried most I can even think of, what to do Roblox?

The main reason is a to fast communication from client to server or server to client for your pc to handle.
