Summary of the Incident:
Recently, a Roblox and Discord user threatened me via Discord, stating that they would get my Roblox account deleted. They somehow managed to deceive Roblox moderation and have several people’s games taken down. I realized I was next on their list and promptly blocked them on Discord.
The very next day, while minding my own business, I noticed that I had received a warning from Roblox, as follows:
Warning Message
Roblox does not permit sharing Personal Identifiable Information in the form of full name, email address, passwords, physical address, telephone numbers, images of themselves, or unauthorized voice recordings of minors.
Immediately after, I checked my public experiences and noticed two players in one of them. When I joined the game, what do I see? Take a guess:
There, I found the user wearing an accessory with a Discord link on it and using an alternate account named “NPC” to display inappropriate messages.
Not only did they manage to get me banned, but they’ve also done the same to many others using similar methods. Roblox’s moderation system urgently needs an update to address this kind of abuse.
Additionally, there should be penalties and sanctions for individuals who exploit loopholes in the moderation system for malicious purposes.
