I’m wanting to create a game for me and my friends to hang out in. I would like it to be a giant, realistic map that we can explore, with trails, caves, hang-out areas, etc.
However, I don’t really know what to put on top of the terrain. What areas should I add? What activities should I make for my friends and I to do? What buildings should I create?
I’m stuck on these questions.
Any ideas?

I would try to figure out what the individual interests of you and your friends are, and try to generalize that so random people could still enjoy the activity. For example, if one of your friends has a passion for painting, you could create an easel activity where everyone could paint a picture based on a reference model (such as another player, or the landscape of your map)
