Is there a way to tone down the Neon so its not killing peoples eyes or no?

In my opinion, you should never have huge neon parts lying around you map. Its best to have your map <18% of neon. But I do like the concept. Keep up the good work!

I see 2 issues. First, why so much neon? I get it’s a neon lobby, but you can put glass around it, or more transparent neon parts. Secondly, bring down the bloom. Go to lighting, add something called bloom. Mess with those settings.

it’s fine to use a lot of neon, to tone it down just make the neon darker until it stops blooming

Try to aim for neon accents, not neon base. Neon outlines and decoration, rather than solids.

For example, a regular tree with neon outline on its trunk and leaves blocks, rather than the blocks being solid neon.

The brightness is a little bit “jarring” but looks good

I see a lot of you don’t like how bright the neon is, this is excellent feedback and i will add some bloom!

It’s a cute idea. I do like the idea of a “Neon Style” lobby, though I do have some concerns.

1 | Brightness

The Neon Lobby does use a neon, but I would use the Bloom feature in lighting. This will allow you to increase/decrease the intensity of all neon parts. This would be good so it’s not like every part is being the sun burning your eyes.

2 | Too Bland & Size

From the photos you’ve provided and from when I played are nice and all, but it’s sort of basic. I am unfortunately unable to play the game, probably an assassin or murder mystery game, but I do not get the vibe from it.

3 | Other things

When I played, I realized the dummy is there. It’s good to have, but if I was going to release this or show us, I would remove the dummy.

Although you did not request for GUI feedback, I will add some here. The GUIs are too big and a bit cluttered on the screen, try sizing them down or making some into menus.

Thanks your feedback, yes i heard a lot of comments saying it’s too bright. I will use bloom to remove some of the intensity of the neon.

No problem! If you need anymore help, message me on Devforum or roblox. I’d be happy to do so!

And the dummy was just for testing l0l

This might not be 100% what you’re looking for, but possibly making the neon parts (specifically the tree leaves) 0.5 transparency might do some good.

It removes the blinding glow around the part but also still gives off the neon effect.

@spicychilly2 and can you make a GUI to disable the Neon? As people say, the neon really burn the eye and not all Players support the neon light, if stark or light light it can for some people really burn the light, so you should still make a GUI for change neon to normal Part colors, only for adapting the game to the most possible players. Then i find you really have done a good work!

Try not to give the player internal loss of sight.

Already on that but thanks for ur concern -_-

This is what happens when I join. I’d recommend you to add a transparent wall by (0.7/0.8) and then test it out. It won’t stop the brightness from going anywhere, but will help.
