This rubbed me the wrong way

Because when you target a user (my family) here at RBX Dev, jimmies will be rustled . Things need to be brought up. I don’t question havemeat being here if anything I have no idea why you’re here if all you’re going to do is make spammy posts as well as harrasing other members, which as you can tell. I do not take kindly to

Edit: ninjas by havemeat

I want you to quote one, one of your posts in this thread where you mentioned anything that had anything to do with roblox itself.

If you’re only here to talk about roblox then why are you making these posts?

It’s useless talking to someone as dense as him; just let the mods take care of it.

Well then take your emotions off the internet, they have no place here. The internet was designed for information, not for feelings.

I make these post because of what other say to me. You dont even want to see how many messages I have gotten from TrustMeImRussian about how he hates my games, and its ok, because I have every right to say how much I do or do not like someone else’s work.

that’s the second step of becoming a bully: justification

Way to edit the words in my mouth, great job -.-

I love how threads here merge into completely different topics in the space of 1 page.
It’s RBXDev in a shellnut

Quick attempt to get back on topic: well that was quite rude of them. I don’t see why it’s any of their business how people get into rbxdev or what they did to warrant an invitation, especially when they themselves are not flawless. I know Sparker back from LuaLearners and while I may have been very quiet over there, Sparker was a very respectable guy.

External Media

Seriously though, I don’t think you’re the type of person who belongs here.

Reasons:

 1. We were talking about the situation at hand, and how to deal with it, and then you come in all like.

You added nothing constructive to this thread, and managed to irritate quite a few members while you were at it.
2. Looking at your past forum posts on here, you’ve added nothing constructive to conversations, you act as if this is Skype/Twitter.
3. While you do have some impressive projects, you don’t contribute much to the ecosystem that is known as RBXdev - RBXdev isn’t a place where you get in because you make epic projects, it’s a place where (Mature) developers help other developers. If it were solely based on places that were popular/users who were influential in the community, god only knows what it would be like right now.

Respectfully, from what I see, it appears that you’d be more at home on the Roblox forums versus a mature development forum like this.

This topic is just saying that lito and shay have no rights to comments on how another person got into the dev forums. -.-

Yeah, and your posts on this topic are completely irrelevant to the topic at hand, added nothing to the conversation that was helpful, and you managed to piss off quite a few members - your past posts were also useless.
Not that, the game lol. Gotta admit it was a pretty lame game no offense to spark >.>

Dont have to act like overprotective mother about it

Your welcome

the video was pretty funny though, you’ve gotta admit
Please, do mention where any of your posts on this thread were relevant to the topic/contributed in one way or another.

Nobody is saying they have no right to comment on how they got on the dev forums. Lito didn’t do anything. It was Buddy by the way.

What the community doesn’t appreciate them doing is commenting on how someone got in the dev forums in a toxic way. I found it to be extremely toxic and I honestly was hurt that such words were said about me on a public livestream, specially since I did nothing to them. Questioning how someone got in the forums is one thing. Saying stuff like “Admins must of been high when adding him. Had to be a mistake. Can we vote to have him booted off RbxDev?” is a different matter. They were judging me as a whole based solely because I had no fancy showcases. That’s the problem. They basically made personal attacks to me on a livestream and judged me without knowing a single thing about me.

Yes, I was hurt deeply about this, but all I ask is that Buddy and Shaylan apologize. Is that really too much to ask?

I apologize here and have personally apologized to sparker22 on skype about this issue when he brought it up to me directly; as I was busy working with fixing bugs for my summer game, I had not paid much attention to the call.

That said, I take responsibility for having this directed attack broadcasted publicly to at least 50 or more stream viewers. This was highly unacceptable for me and my stream channel as a part of the RBXDev community.

Again, I sincerely apologize for such a behavior and will ensure it will not happen on my stream channel again.
Why is this thread still continuing in the direction it is in?

I thought I had already explained the situation.
I have no problems with taking responsibility for this disrespectful behavior on my behalf, that is my fault.

I’ll clarify, there is no right for anyone on the RBXDev forums to question how another person got in.
If the moderators accepted his or her application, then there is certainly some reason for that person to be here even if we don’t see it ourselves.

That said, everyone already accepted to this community should at least try to keep a productive on-topic forum discussion?

This post was important for pointing out behavior that should never have been done against another person.
But also, the person, I myself, who was responsible for letting it happen had already apologized both to the community and to the individual that was targeted.

This thread is resolved and should no longer continue.

Thank you.

If I could just give my two cents here… I think it was a very manly (nohomo) of lito to take that responsibility. Now, ladies and gentlemen, that is a man with some big ass balls. Also, where the Hell is the administrator to lock this thread?

I’m glad he apologized but he still screwed up to begin with. That being said, I hope that this thread can be an example to others of what not to do and how we can improve the RBXDev experience.

I don’t think we should dread on lito because I didn’t see him anywhere in the game (unless shay was him), plus he did apologize. Also, if you wanted to keep the fight for it going then I would suggest taking buddy out of RBXDev because he is, after all, the whole reason it started, and to let that be a warning to all other people who dare to trash an RBXDev member publicly.

Sparker22, I’m sorry I said those hurtful words but just looking at your profile. From a standpoint of just going on your profile for the first time, it looked like an abandoned account. I’m sorry I judged you by just your profile and nothing else and I’m sincerely sorry for the words I said. I feel horrible and this should never happen to any developer. I hope that you will forgive me.

Never judge a book by its cover. Thats what i learned.
