Im planning to develop a game called Scoped, a Bullet Hell Rythm game where you need to dodge attacks to the beat of the music played while also attempting to gain a high combo by getting close to moving projectiles.
In the game, Im mixing aspects of Undertale’s fighting system ( attacks and attack patterns ) , with the generic combo system in most Rythm games, and other aspects for my game for the actual gameplay.
I assume by this you mean something like Just shapes and beats, which sounds fun, challenging and verrrry attractive to a young audience who have seen the bullet hell genre and want to try it, and an older audience who are looking for a competitive challenge.
Maybe you could add a leaderboard?
Also, some kind of unlocks would be cool for completing certain things, to make the game feel more rewarding.
Also, it does sound difficult to make, but very worthwhile. It also sounds rather original and I don’t think I have seen this before.
If I understood this wrong then scrap this I’m sorry.
In short, 9/10. I love the idea and would play it a lot, but might be rather difficult to create!
