I’m more of a scripter but here is an attempt of my first build using only the F3X building plugin. It’s the front exterior of a plain log cabin. I am open to constructive criticism or suggestions
Actually really good! I have not much criticism if it is your first build! Just keep it up!
Honestly, I’ve been building since 2018 and I still SUCK at it. That’s absolutely amazing. Keep up the good work!
For you’re first build… AMAZING!
While the model looks well made is the front exterior only finished? If so can you take screenshots of variety of different angles of the house just so we can provide constructive feedback instead of just showing the exterior of the front appearance. Overall, it’s a good build.
I’d honestly try adding more to the cabin at the moment window scheme looks a little unappealing you could even make the roof out of shingles - wood planks. I suggest decreasing the size of the chimney. In my opinion, it’s quite long and it doesn’t need that much height you could try moving it in the back of the house a bit, there’s much you can do even with just starting off.
Otherwise it’s a good house I’ll try adding small props in the front entrance just to give that welcoming atmosphere continue to improve your build use reference images to get those level of details.
Yes only the front is complete! I appreciate the feedback everyone also sure thing, jordonh23, here are some different angles of the front.
I plan to come back to this thread for future updates on this build
This looks amazing for your first build! Personally, I would adjust the lighting as it plays a huge factor into how your builds look. In addition, I would play around with materials, it is much easier to typically stick to 1-2 materials rather than the 3-4 I see in your photo. All in all, this is amazing.
The roof could be better. You can improvise the chimney of the house. If I am not wrong the beams are actually plastic, I mean I guess wood would suit here. Otherwise this shooting set house is great.
Well, it’s missing a massive chunk so I wouldn’t buy it but great work on what you have done!
The build is pretty impressive, considering it’s your first, and that your’e a scripter. Good work!
looks good for your first build, try and add more details in these places
otherwise brilliant for your first, keep it up and never stop learning
Haha so funny to stumble upon you here, I see you took off the Chimney, at least for now. I think the Chimney looked good in that location, but maybe like bbrvan said above, maybe if you experimented the chimney with isolated parts itself instead of the 1 block being set to that ‘cobblestone’ texture?
Also may I ask what plugin / way did you place that grass out front?
What’s up haha. Thanks for the input! Also for the grass there isn’t a plugin, it’s a feature by ROBLOX. Go to Terrain in the Explorer tab and to get the grass to pop up make sure the “Decoration” slot is checked in the properties.
Not bad, it could be better but it is not bad right now. Nice job
Here is an update on the build! Nearly 2 days of work and the full exterior build is done. All it needs is a little polishing up and fine details and we’ll be good to go
Also here is one pic of an interior build I did (couch was very complex so my friend built it)
You can add frames to the walls like a deer head.
its a great build!
Great job, that house looks amazing!
Wow! For this first build it’s very impressive. I do have a few thoughts about what you can do but over all this is absolutely stunning!..
-
Looking at the living room screen shot it appears as though you might want to use some currents, a carpet and a different color trim rather than green for the interior but keep it green for the exterior.
-
On the left side as you look at the front I notice there’s a seam, might want to fix that.
- The lack of trees for a natural scene should be a bit better in my opinion; try adding some trees behind the house going into the hill. Remember there can be some fallen trees and living trees.
Thanks for taking the time to do this, I greatly appreciate it
