I made a Logo and Thumbnail for my Tier obby game, thoughts?

the stone part is a little too dark, and make the top part of the gradient in th “&” part a little more green other than that it look cool

Looks good! The ‘&’ is a bit too much on the left side. Probably just my overcomplicating, but other than that, good job.

Probably change the font it looks a bit to basic and a better font will make it more popping for people to play your game and change the gradient of Stone.

i love the classic map build behind the text!! the picture is very visually pleasing. however, the image is quite detailed so i suggest not adding text right in the middle of the thumbnail. all the viewer’s attention is driven towards the screenshot and not the text, which makes the words look out of place or annoying to look at. putting text in the bottom-left corner of the thumbnail would look a lot nicer.

im saying this because our eyes read art the same way we read writing: left to right. you want the viewer’s eyes to flow along the image to catch every detail instead of being bombarded with a huge sign in the middle that says “stone & logs” in the middle. had you blurred the background a bit more it would’ve been fine, but i feel that the map is too pretty to just blur out like that.

for the logo and icon itself, the background you chose seems to be the same one you used for the thumbnail. it’s kinda repetitive to see a game which has a logo exactly like its thumbnail. try taking a picture of the map from a different angle or hire someone professional to make you a logo.

i see what you were trying to do with the text, but you’ve excecuted it incorrectly. gradient text looks nicer with bold or chunky writing. using thin default font makes it look tacky. stylise it a little bit. an outline combined with a drop shadow would look nice, or you could even make the text 3d!! this would make the text stand out more; remember, game tiles are quite small when they appear in the search bar so you need to do as much as you can to make your game “pop” to compete w the other games.

alignment on this is a little inconsistent. try to make the “s” in “stones” near where the green line starts and make the “s” in “logs” go near where the line ends so you can get the effect you were going for. make sure the text also has the same amount of space between the line on the y axis on either side. another thing you could do is make the green line shorter on one end, giving it an interesting asymmetric look. the line also lacks the gradient that “&” has.

once again your ideas are amazing!! u definitely have potential if you practice more often.

add some borders to the colours and… i think thats it

In terms of text and colors, the “stone” color looks overly dark, and it’s more complicating although the ampersand symbol is a little too far left between bar lines. Besides, it looks decent.

Kinda boring, Use fontspace for fonts and maybe add shadows and highlights to it and make it more unique kinda looks like the drake and josh logo.

i like the simple design, also the perspective the screenshot of the tiered obby is in.

maybe put the & to be more in the middle, and maybe add a tiny bit of a black/white shadow behind the text so that it pops out more.

its kinda supposed to represent a simplistic design due to the fact that its not a big game or anything and its just a simple tiered obby.

Simple can be cute and different but your logo looks depressing if you see what I’m trying to say? Overall good job
