Thoughts on plugin GUI?

Hi guys, I’m working on a plugin that lets users choose from a set of color and gradient palettes for their UI, and also make their own custom palettes. This is the preview (not fully animated) of the GUI>

I am not really a fan of the navigation (especially that back button ew) throughout the GUI so I was thinking of completely redesigning it, but this GUI already took me like hours to make and animate :C thoughts?

I was also thinking of trying this Info Card layout but not sure if it would be suitable for development workspace.

I would choose an alternate selection system to choose between Gradient, Abstract and Material. It looks nice but it’s hard to figure out how to use it.

For the navigation button, have you tried line icons? For example, this kind of back button:

I would avoid using italic text for captions, it makes it less readable. Opt for regular Source Sans, or if you want, a regular weight of Gotham.

The scrollbar is a bit large, try making it thinner and maybe make it black or grey so it doesn’t attract as much attention.

I would personally get rid of the stroke between the Gradients title and the scrolling area, it’s very prominent and doesn’t really need to be there. It would make the UI a bit cleaner.

Other than that, looks good!

Thanks for the feedback, I wanted to use
“<” as the back arrow but I thought it would be weird with the line under it.

You should put shadows under the main frame. To let user have a better experience.
