What do you guys think about remastering old Roblox games? Is it good, is it bad? Like old ROBLOX games such as “Zombie Tower” or " [PWNED: InCrypt]" that are no longer functional. Is there any downside or negativity for remaking old ROBLOX games?

Super nostalgia zone is a very popular game that remasters a bunch of old Roblox games like roblox hq, crossroads. I think if it is done well and executed tastefully it can be successful.

If the goal is to treat it like a new game (i.e. monetization), you may have some trouble doing a remaster without changing the mechanics. For example, Roblox Battle has only a 1 minute interval between running 3 5-minute rounds. You may have to tweak some or a lot of the mechanics from the original, which might be viewed more of a sequel than a remaster.
The only case where it would be a bad idea to remaster a broken or barely functional game is if you disrepect the original game, such as making it a blatant pay-to-win. I have done remasters of games before and the results have been positive. As mentioned above, there is a place for bringing back older games.
