Hello! My name is Chris and I decided for my first post as a New Member to be asking for you amazing people of DevForum to give me some constructive criticism on some of my past builds.
I just got into building about a month or 2 ago, I already knew the basics and such. So, I was just curious if you guys had any thoughts. I go off of google pictures so.
Your builds look really good. Here is some of my suggestions,i got for each of your builds.
My Suggestions
First Build:
On the big clinic you should remove those dark brown and wooden. Material in the back of the building, and try adding different colors to the building part. As you can see it’s glass and grey material on it i would suggest doing different colors!!
Second Build:
Try adding more lights to the build. To get those black spots on the ground and walls of! i would also suggest you change, the color to a more lighter color and make it a little more bigger and open and you should change. The floor to a different material.
Fourth Build:
I would suggest you add, a sidewalk to the empty grass piece area in the corner of the image. You should also fix the black stripe pieces that are by the door piece. And maybe add a sign on the top of the building or on the ground!
Fifth Build:
On the outside of the house you should add some lights. On the ceiling part and next to door you could also add a door handle, and scale in those cracks on the door a little more and lower down the lights on the inside of the house. And maybe add another window and some plants next to the house…
Sixth Build:
For the ATM. add more brighter colors to it and on the side of it, add the credit cards that can be used for it I would try re-sizing the screen! a bit more like a square part because it looks A little not centered in the middle.
Seventh Build:
Bench looks really good, the only thing i’ll fix on it is Change the black color. to a more wooden color and add a brighter yellow to it!
Eight Build:
For the bus stop i would add a glass. Part in the back of it as you can see, it’s really hard to see if there is a bench in there i would center the bench and make, the (bus stop shelter) more wider. Also add some more details on the roof part.
I would suggest you add one of those gas pump. Nozzles with the hoses attach to it, and add the number signs on the yellow buttons. As you can see below:

Tenth Build:
The desk looks really good, i would just fix the edges a bit more and add some details on to it. You can also use a plugin to do it SBS
And that’s all my suggestions. Other than that you have done a great job, keep up the good work.
Adding on to what @jordonh23 said, it’s looking great! I have one suggestion though.
As you can see in that picture, there is an unnecessary line between the two parts. It also seems as if the two ends are a different length than the table itself. You can fix this by going into studio and looking at the part’s properties. Find the correct axis and change the end parts to fit the length. After all this union the three parts together. That should fix the line!
Bench - I’m kinda colorblind, ( According to my family, I don’t think so though… ) and I thought it was going for a light brownish type of color, didn’t realize it was yellow. >.<
*Just thought I might add if you want to keep it completely basic also completely fine! You could add like those drains just where the roof meets the walls!
Try finding images that fit the canvas size, they look a bit ‘tall’ which kind of makes it seem off, but it still looks super cool even if it stays like that!
Also on the Suburban house, you could try adding a proper light underneath the roof so it looks a bit more realistic (So we know where the light is coming from) if you’re aiming for it to be a bit realistic!
But they all look really beautiful for basic builds! Well done, and please don’t take in my suggestions if you don’t understand them or dislike them
