Hello today i decided to start building a new mountain range and wanted to know how the mountains look so far.

They look kinda small and remind me of trees…I’d recommend making them bigger

In scale to a default R15 Avatar.

Oh, my bad, from the picture above, compared to the jeep and buildings and stuff it looked much smaller. If it is already that big then I would include more mountains.
I like how you managed to get the tops of the mountains so pointed

Honestly, It looks terrible. the whole mountain looks artificially created instead of naturally, like a terril for example if you will.

There is no gradual build-up in height to the mountain, you go from 0 studs to a certain high amount of studs which creates this " artificialness "

You’ve used only one material (rock) which will make the mountain look very bland. Put some slate, mud, whatever really in your mountain.

Lastly, you made your mountain directly peak into the sky, the mountains I’ve seen usually have lower plateau’s and smaller pikes.

I just feel the mountain its out of place. Why is it in such an odd position? I don’t like that it is a simple triangle without depth or shape. Like what @goldencowboy said, it looks really artificial. Add small ravines, bumps, flat plateaus as the mountain goes up.

Since your mountain is based on a winter theme, heres a mountain ravine example.

I suggest you use different materials, like slate or ice(darker blue than snow). Mess around with the terrain colours. It really helps to enhance the feel. You should look at some Terrain showcases or tutorials on the forum.

I don’t want to say its terrible, however, theres ALOT to work on.
