Well, as I understand it, you are having problems with the orientation and placement of the hilt on the sword for the character (player)?
I think its just i dont undertand why the knife isn’t being animated, its just staying attached to the arm.
what? the second video show the knife animated and moving…
I am just as puzzled as you are. The animation in the second clip works, however the playtest will not work.
umm, it does not seem like the same animation ,… in the playtest the sword is not spinning…
how in the animator are you making the sword spin? and also move out in the direction?
also how is the sword attached to the player?
what is your script like?
did you animate it in blender or something?
It was animated in Blender i think (its a old anim idk) and its attached via a Handle. I just spinthe sword by animating it like you would in any other rig.
hmm, maybe someone else will know now that there is more info… what is the script you use to play it, and the animation priority at?
does it work in blender?
plus if u did get the animation working , how are you going to have hit detection , and like what if the player that got hit is right next to them, is the sword going to keep going through them? or do you have keyframe or something to stop the animation on a hit ?
I’m going to figure this out after I figure out my bug. Most likely I’ll do a keyframe but also I have to consider a raycast - TL;DR I’m not too sure but I’m not bad at scripting so ill be fine lol

how is the blade connected to the character? you should be using a motor6d which is connected to the character and the part of the blade that you animated in blender
