Thumbnail videos copyright music

For the thumbnail video, I was wondering if it’s okay to use copyrighted music in the background. The video will be uploaded to YouTube, and I know that YouTube typically gives credit to the music in the description. I’m planning to use the YouTube link for the thumbnail video on Roblox. Would this cause any copyright issues on Roblox, even though the video itself is hosted on YouTube and not directly on Roblox?

I understand that using copyrighted music means I won’t be able to monetize the video on YouTube, which is fine — I don’t have any subscribers anyway lol.

If its allowed on youtube then its probably going to be okay for roblox. Since your basically only linking the video. I cant say 100% that this is allowed but it seems fine. Either way the only way to find out is to do it. If it gets copyrighted, then you can remove it.

Not quite that easy on Roblox if it gets copyrighted as the game would be taken down and be marked as Content Deleted.
