As of sometime last night, I stopped seeing any thumbnails anywhere. I tried disabling my extensions, changing my IP address multiple times, and clearing my cache, with no change. I figured it was an outage and went to sleep, but the issue is still around this morning even after more IP address changes and cache clears.
After about a minute the loading attempts stop and I get spammed with the following error message:
