Issue Description:

The thumbnails of Roblox Experiences displayed on the Roblox website appear in noticeably lower quality compared to the same thumbnails viewed through the Roblox Universal App. This issue creates an inconsistent user experience between platforms. The thumbnails on the website appear blurry and less detailed when compared to their sharper, higher-quality counterparts on the app. An example that can be used to demonstrate this issue is the Roblox experience called “The Classic” (The Classic - Roblox).

Reproduction Steps

  1. Access any Roblox experience through the Roblox website (example: “The Classic” link).
  2. Observe the thumbnail of the experience on the website.
  3. Open the Roblox Universal App and search for the same experience (e.g., “The Classic”).
  4. Compare the thumbnail quality between the website and the Universal App.

Expected Behavior

The thumbnail for the Roblox Experience should appear in high quality on both the website and the Roblox Universal App, ensuring consistency between platforms.

I can also notice that the thumbnails look noticeably less detailed and lower quality in the website compared to in Universal app. I have tested this on multiple browsers like Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox and the results are consistent. I don’t have any extensions enabled. I don’t even think thumbnails are being rendered in full resolution in the Universal app either, though it still looks better in it than in the website.

It’s ironic that thumbnails are being rendered in a higher resolution in the Universal app compared to the website, but logos are being rendered in lower ones. But that is another issue that has already been reported.
