Looks great- the aesthetic of the fighter is very appealing to the eye, the wings of it (don’t know what they are called haha) are very nice with the right amount of “detail” without it being too excessive, and in my opinion it’s a great skill to have in being able to tell when enough detail is enough; knowing when to stop.
My only improvements for you which in my opinion would make this look perfect for a star wars/sci-fi themed, low-poly/cartoon style game is to add a bit more to the cockpit/sphere of the fighter; right now it looks like a Pokeball with wings attached to it.
Here are some suggestions for the sphere to make it feel more whole:
1). Enlarge the inner part which I believe is meant to be the glass/window and add an offset border onto it.
2). Add some sort of hexagon plates where the wings are attached to the sphere to make it look like it’s joined to the cockpit.
3). Looking at TIE fighters on google images, maybe add 2 sensors underneath the middle window part of the sphere.
Those are some great idea, thanks a lot, I’ll for sure add them to the model
It’s really well made for a low poly model but if you do want it to be realistic I suggest looking at images and adding details.
I’m going for a low poly look. But thanks for the feedback!
This looks cool, I really like the space feeling.
