For some parts most of the time, while using the Studio Build Suite plugin or built-in studio tools, I end up getting small gaps between parts. Is anyone else experiencing it? Is it a bug? Are there any ways to prevent or fix it?

Looks to me to be the opposite. The 2 parts are intersecting.
to fix this “war crime” u can use resize align.

Use Origin Position in properties. Or drag the part a little bit touching the parts that you want to attach.
It is not a perfect way to solve it but it would be helpful.
