Embassy Hotels & Resorts has recently implemented a new tipping system to allow staff members to receive tips from guests and other staff members as a way to recognize outstanding performance. The tipping system operates using the in-game currency of Robux, which is subject to certain deductions for taxes and administrative purposes.

Here’s a breakdown of how the tipping system works in terms of Robux amounts and deductions:

  1. When a guest or staff member decides to tip a staff member:
  • Tipping 5 Robux results in the staff member receiving 2 Robux after deductions.
  • Tipping 10 Robux results in the staff member receiving 4 Robux after deductions.
  • Tipping 50 Robux results in the staff member receiving 20 Robux after deductions.

It’s important to note that the deductions mentioned above include taxes imposed by Embassy Hotels & Resorts as well as Roblox, the platform on which the game is hosted. These deductions ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and support the smooth operation of the tipping system.

To keep track of the tips received, Embassy Hotels & Resorts maintains a leaderboard where the accumulated tips of each staff member are recorded. The leaderboard serves as a performance metric that can contribute to a staff member’s chances of promotion within the organization. In addition to the tipping system, the hotel already has an existing point system to evaluate staff performance.

To facilitate the payout process, tippers send their tips to the Roblox group associated with Embassy Hotels & Resorts. As the owner and founder of the group, I, avoidingsolo, hold records of every tip and the necessary information. Periodically, I will conduct payouts to staff members based on the accumulated tips. However, it’s important to understand that certain circumstances may affect the payout eligibility of staff members:

  1. If a staff member leaves the Roblox group, they will not be eligible to receive the accumulated tips. This ensures that the tips are allocated only to active group members who contribute to the hotel’s operations.
  2. New staff members need to be part of the group for at least two weeks before becoming eligible for group payouts. This requirement allows sufficient time to assess their commitment and contribution to the group before distributing tips.

By implementing the tipping system, Embassy Hotels & Resorts aims to incentivize and reward exceptional performance by its staff members, fostering a culture of excellence and providing opportunities for growth within the organization.
