Tips for importing UI into studio for clients

Hey there!

I’ve been making UIs, and importing them into studio to scale and make it compatible for all devices for the people that commission me. I do this in my own game, then I give the client team-create access so they can add it into their own game.

I have heard that some people are able to put in malicious scripts into games they have team access in, and I want to know what’s the best way to prevent that when I give clients team access to the game where I’m working on their UI.

I have tried looking this up, but I see no definite solution to my concern.

I am not familiar with scripting, so I would basically be a sitting duck if someone attempted to get me banned as a sick joke. If this is impossible, please let me know so I can rest easily. If it is possible, please make it as clear as possible how to prevent that since I can’t scale or make compatible UIs without going into studio.

Edit: I believe I accidentally posted this in the wrong category. I thought this was the appropriate category for UI questions, then I realised my question wasn’t about the aesthetic, but about protecting myself while allowing strangers team access to my game. I flagged my own post, sorry about the mix up.

You can forgo interaction with your client in Studio by sending them a Roblox model file, which they can then import on their own.

Export

Highlight Interface Components > Right Click > Save to File...

Import

Ribbon Bar > Model Tab > Model > Select File

Import
