Tips for walking/running animation

so i am trying to make custom animations, is there any tips or tricks to make the character more “alive”? what are the time stamps for each step for walkspeeds? (my walk speed is 16 and run is 20-25 ish) and how do i make transition from run to walk or vice versa smooth? (animations R6 BTW)

Im not an animstor or anything, but ive noticed the more frames there are, typically they’re more smoother. When doing fast animations, use less frames and faster fps. I guess these are simple tips and i dont really have much to help you, but heres somethibg in case you didnt know.

I would need a little more information, and maybe a video showing what you would like feedback on.
