Tips on a RPG game? Unique ideas etc

Hello!
So ive had the idea to work on some sort of RPG game. However im stuck on the part of development where I dont have any ideas on how it would work?

Not sure if it should be a area type rpg. (Start on level 1 with level 1 mobs then work up to level 2 etc)

Not sure if it should be a dungeon type rpg. (Similar to the area type game but with dungeons you and your friends can explore)

Not sure if it should be completely open and you can go where ever you want.

Or something else.

I have ideas but they are heavily based on world zero. Is that fine?
