Tips on how to boost my games stats

Hello devs,

Ive recently released my new roblox game “Dumpstered”. We have tried a bunch of different strategies to boost the stats of our game but nothing seems to work, and tips or helpful feedback we can use to get this game where it should be?

Link to the game: [UPD 1] Dumpstered! 🗑️ - Roblox

Thank you for your help!

this feels like a buggy “grow a garden” with no incentive to join back!!!

Small bugs/nitpicky things

plugging socials but no easy way to access said socials (link it in the game/group)
players enjoy things being easy

I HATE THE GARBAGE DIVING SYSTEM, it shouldnt be .5 seconds to click, children will NOT BE ABLE TO READ THE TEXT TO KNOW HOW IT WORKS
maybe just keep the ui on the screen with an X button letting your user have control

your leaderboards are unscrollable, set canvas size (on the y) to 0 and turn this onto y

this is a common issue

(does this mean that the highest item is common orrr… make it more clear, your players will probably also be confused)

your index is broken

PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS MODULE

Tutorial issues

what does this even mean and why can i not buy it even though the tutorial really wants me to

and to be fair, i dont even know what im doing in this game, what do my friends do?

(im being harsh because i feel like im softlocked because a button is broken, and if a younger player which seems to be your audience, will ask these questions and leave really quick which will lower basically all of these stats)

make sure your advertising, dont be scared to flop with a youtube short and then randomly one pops off, just keep trying till it works

Tutorial… worked?

i just rejoined and it randomly worked, now i can play the game, but usually a younger person may have already lost their attention on the game

im pretty sure roblox made a thing to track what a player does for your analytics page, if i find it ill link it

Conclusion

this game feels buggy and unpolished which makes me not want to play it, if you need any more feedback let me know

Thank you for all this feedback! This will finally something we are looking for to help us fix up the game.

Your monetization stats are bad, but your engagement and retention are worse. I would say your #1 focus should be on improving the core game loop!

Any suggestions on what we should do?

First lemme preface that the thing that made me stop playing was this:

It’s telling me to upgrade my multiplier with 11 coins, but it needs 179?

That aside, I’d say the core loop is just really repetitive and boring. It’s a lot of waiting and not a lot of doing. Maybe vary up what the player can do during their downtime.

Im aware if the upgrade board costs being off, I was just over scripting for the day and didnt bother fixing it but it should be fixed now. We are trying to think of ideas for things that the players can do in their downtime but havent figured anything out yet.

Ive just released a update fixing/adding in all the features and changes you suggested. If you would like to go back and re-test the game feel free too and leave some feedback on that! Than you.

I like it a bit more, but as @iGottic said, the core gameplay loop is pretty boring and really repetitive.
