Each member at Tokyo Disneyland is expected to follow certain guidelines and procedures in our Discord server, at our parks, and at any additional facility.

Employment Process

In order to officially work for our company, you are required to go through a brief training process that ensures you are prepared for the duties of this job. Before you apply to work for us, we’d recommend going to each and every facility we have and make sure you know basic knowledge of where everything is. Here is the official employment process at our company.

  • Application Stage: Before you are able to go through our training process, you must apply through our Application Form. The form consists of various different questions that can help us identify who you are as a person, how you will be as an employee, and what qualities you possess that could lead us to assign you a certain position. While completing your application, we recommend being as honest as possible. If you are hired and end up being entirely different from who you said you were on your application, your job may be in jeopardy. We value honesty in our Cast Members because while they are working, it is expected that they are truthful to our visitors and to their colleagues. If you pass your application, you will be able to advance to the next stage which can be found below. In order to apply to become a Cast Member, please visit this link.

  • Training Stage: After your application has been approved, you will be required to attend a hosted training session where you will be taught all of the basics of this position. Depending on the amount of people at your training, you may or may not be required to do group work. While your Instructor is talking, it is recommended that you listen attentively, take notes, and practice whenever told. While you are receiving the tour, it is recommended that you remain active in the game to ensure you are not left behind. At the end of the training you will be given a brief trivia quiz about the things you were just told. If you get an 80% or above, you will then proceed to the next part of the training, the simulator section. Depending on the position you were assigned, you will stand in that location, awaiting one of the Instructors (portraying visitors). If you follow the Disney protocol (taught during the training) while interacting with the ‘visitor’, you will pass and officially be promoted. If you selected an interest in being a Character Performer Cast Member, you will have to go through a separate training process.
