Tom's Portfolio | Scripter [Not Hireable Currently]

I am a Lua programmer who has been programming in Lua for about a year and a half. Compared to some scripters that may sound like a small amount of time, but I assure you that I have used almost every single day of that roughly 550 days to learn more about scripting and solidify the my skills. Along with programming in Lua I also know other languages such as Python. My skill set stretches far beyond Lua, earlier this year I placed so high in the National Cyber Scholarship Competition in the USA that I was awarded a Cybersecurity course valued at 3000 USD.

Important Information

It is important that you know the exact tasks that you would like me to do even before you contact me. It allows for better communication and it also allows me to get the task done faster. Also, if you hire me the way the transaction will go is: you tell me what to do, I do that, I then show you, you pay me and finally I give you the finished product. This allows for both parties to limit the chance of being scammed, (not that anyone is trying to scam anyone). It is an insurance policy.

Entire Games
Project Fashion In this game you get to dress up as whatever you like and vote on other players' outfits. I know, it sounds like a copy of Fashion Famous, but I never made it with intent on making a profit. I made it to improve my skills. In it there is a voting system, camera manipulation and much more! Changes In this game you can change various aspects of your character. You can make them large, small, skinny and so on. It is quite fun to play. It includes a working item shop and coin shop. Click Here to Play it
Pizza War! In this game you fight against other players or zombies to knock them off the edge of a pizza that is shrinking! If you win you get coins to spend on cool items in the shop. This game has a similar shop set up to Changes. Click Here to Play it
How to Get Rich on Roblox I know the title is somewhat cheesy, but it has been the most profitable for me. This game is very simple. It is just a slideshow that you can flip through. The slideshow contains information on how to make Robux. Note: Costs 25 Robux to play. Click Here to Play it
How to make Clothes This game is similar to the other information giving game. The difference is that the slideshow is larger. Note: Costs 25 Robux to play. Click Here to Play it
Pet Rescue This was my first game on Roblox and it is an interesting one. In this game you have to collect keys around this maze to find your pet while a pet catcher is trying to find you. Since it is my first game it is not as well built as the others, but it taught me a lot. (Doesn't really work on single player) Click Here to Play it
UI Systems
Cool Sci-Fi Shop This shop system is my favorite User Interface project that I have made to date. It has a sleek look to it and there is a computer voice that greets you when the shop opens. The opening sequence looks very awesome. All the buttons work and the items are pretty cool too. Most of them are free models since I was just focusing on the shop. It even won me 1500 Robux. Sleek Start Menu This start menu is for my Candy Crush like game and in my opinion looks pretty nice. There is movement in use to make everything look smoother.
Currency Shop This shop uses developer products and allows players to buy currency in some of my games. It works quite well and looks decent.
Normal Item Shop This item shops sells different items from the sci-fi one and looks more cartoony. The core set up is somewhat similar.
Cool Algorithms
International Space Station Tracker Utilizing the power of API, this program is capable of pinpointing the exact location of the International Space Station. The largest satellite ever built.
Candy Crush Like Game This might be one of my most complex projects to date. It is a proof of concept that could be turned into a full fledged game. It is basically Candy Crush in Roblox. There are 25 different units or candy, (whatever you want to call them) which are in a grid formation. You can slide your mouse or finger so the pieces slide. You make matches of 3, 4, or 5. If you make matches of 4 or more then powerups are made. You can make matches of 2 by 2, 4 in a row or 5 to get a powerup. This game is complex and there is nothing else like it on Roblox. This game is not an Obby, Simulator, Story game, or anything else. It is in its own league. If someone approached me with funding I could probably finish the game and I bet it would make a hefty profit. Click Here to Play it
Recursive Backtracker This algorithm can generate a near INFINITE amount of mazes.
Other
Flying Car This car is able to fly around really fast and can be controlled with wasd/arrow keys. Use q/e to go up and down. It also is mobile compatible! So buttons show up on the side of the screen for users on mobile so they too can make the car go up and down. This car uses body velocity and other physics magic to move around. I made the scripts for this car, I did not make the model. (I am a scripter). Click Here to Fly it

I accept all common payment methods that include Robux except commissions that pays purely with percentages. With percentages how much I am going to get paid is unknown and I don't get anything if the game flops. I accept group payouts, t-shirt method, gamepass method and others. I currently do not accept USD. I also would prefer that if you pay me in any method other than group payouts that you cover the gap.

RATE: It depends. If you have me script an entire game obviously I will want to get paid more than if I made an asset for your game. We can agree on a set payment at the start and I expect to get paid the amount we agreed on for the amount of work that was set at the start. If extra work is added I would like extra compensation. Overall I am relatively flexible as to how much I get paid, but I expect to get the payment promised once I complete the work.

Important: Currently I am on a trip and am not available until the 13th.

I am available most of the time and am relatively flexible. If I am given a task I complete it as quickly as possible. NOTE: I am not available from the 7th to the 13th.

I am open to almost all short-term tasks, some medium-term tasks, and not any long-term tasks currently. I am still improving my experience with combat systems so I may not accept tasks that involve that. I can make decent guns though. I am the best with GUI, (buttons and such) systems. I am able to design and script really nice-looking ones. For an example check out this game that won a contest on HiddenDevs.

NOTE: No need to send me a friend request, (I probably won't accept it anyway) my settings are set up so you can just DM me.
