Too dark for roblox?

Hi developers, so I have been writing for my story game plots and stuff. I have added demons as my antagonists. Would that be too dark for Roblox or not? The demons, will take on the form of humans but they will pull a random chosen member from the group who is acting as the antagonist as he has been randomly picked. He or she will be told to discreetly murder the group until it just him where the antagonist will win and get set free for the place they have been imprisoned in. But if the antagonist gets found out gets caught and murdered by the group acting protagonists, the game continues to another new antagonist randomly chosen. Is this too dark by using demons or not?

I would greatly accept and appreciate feedback on my basic plot and your opinion if its too dark for this platform.

Other games have demons and other games have murder so its not at all dark for roblox

Yea i’m just being cautious because I don’t want to finish my game and it gets taken down due to “being too dark” lol thanks for the contribution.

I mean didnt David Baszucki want Roblox to appeal to the more older audiences anyways…
(also what happened to the game age ratings things?)
I’m sure he won’t mind if your game is a bit dark

Anyways yes games on roblox have demons and things like that.
I mean do you see the things Flamingo does, and his account is in the Video Stars Program.
(oh no i didnt mean to start the developers vs youtubers war again)
Remember that time in an RP game he got an admin panel with demons which came out from a toilet that took off people’s body parts and made that disgusting crunching sound and then brought them down to— you know what this is getting off topic.

Short answer: No it is not Too Dark For Roblox, you should be fine in terms of moderation

Ahh ok lol. I just thought the story I am going to write in the coming days will be dark with death and demons and murder. Its a horror game just one of the more gruesome ones.

I forget the name but it was a murder game and the murder animations were pretty dark, there were hangings, beheadings, full on disembowelment and it was a front page game so I honestly doubt roblox will care, besides a long standing popular game on roblox is literally called murder, if for whatever reason roblox does take it down they would have to take down thousands of very popular games and that would probs rub the community the wrong way, either way youre safe. if you do go overboard with the gore just make it cartoony or even do what danganronpa did and make it pink or whatever

ironic how your post is also violating those same exact rules

A lot of games have horror aspects in them. Don’t be too afraid to add some scary assets into your game, as horror is a common genre on Roblox. And like @SpeedySanikJr said, Roblox is trying to appeal to all users.
