Currently, there’s no way to get a cohesive record of every chat message you’ve sent on Guilded. If you try to use from:[Myself] in Guilded’s search bar, it won’t show any results until you include a word. If you try to submit a data request, Guilded will only return basic account info and IDs. Even after contacting Guilded support multiple times and citing applicable law which requires them to submit all of my personal data, they still did not comply with the chat logs.
I’ve been trying to put in a lot of effort lately to improve my online privacy and safety, but it’s very hard to do that when the only accessible option that Guilded offers is manually scrolling through an entire server’s chat history to find every message I’ve sent.
Expected behavior
Guilded should send all of my personal data when requested, including my chat messages. They should be in a format which is easy to search through, and gives me the resources needed to quickly jump to the original message on Guilded for full context and removal if necessary.
